Seed to Tree

Coming from an inconspicuous country in the heart of Europe, Luxembourg band Seed to Tree developed from their folk roots into a dedicated indie-pop band reminiscent of acts like Ben Howard and Bombay Bicycle Club. An intimate voice intertwined with consistent grooves, broad guitar sounds, synth scapes and rich melodies, flirt along the lines of indie pop before meandering atmospheric folk shoegaze kicks in and envelops you.

These past years, Seed to Tree have been touring a lot in Europe, playing festivals like Reeperbahn Festival and supporting bands such as Beirut, James Bay, Villagers and The Temper Trap. The latest 2019 album, named "Proportions", reaching over 1.5 million plays, sounds darker compared to their past work, leading to a musical world that is breaking with their traditional influences and questioning the emotional, intellectual and spiritual proportions within ourselves and society.

Seed To Tree kommt aus dem unscheinbaren, kleinen Luxemburg im Herzen Europas. Doch über die Jahre hat die Band ihren schlichten Roots-Folk zu einem energiegeladenen Indie-Pop weiterentwickelt, der an Bands wie Bombay Bicycle Club und Ben Howard erinnert. Die Luxemburger Band, die seit acht Jahren zusammen Musik macht, ist 2019 mit ihrem neuen Album ‚Proportions’ zurück. Nach ihrem Debut-Album ‚Wandering’ das über eine Million Streams auf Spotify erreichte, tourte die Band die letzten Jahre in Deutschland, Frankreich und Luxemburg und spielte u.a. auf renommierten Showcase Festivals, wie dem Reeperbahn Festival, und im Vorprogramm internationaler Acts wie Beirut, The Temper Trap, Juli und Villagers. Mit eingängigen Melodien zwischen zarten Indie-Klängen und britischem Shoegaze der 80er Jahre nimmt das neue Album ‚Proportions’ Musikfans auf eine Reise durch Indie-Gitarren, Synth-Pop und Afrobeats mit, und bestätigt Seed to Tree’s Reputation als Luxemburgs unberechenbarste Indie-Band.
